week's forecast is utter shite - 35mm on Thursday .... going to be up round the ankles 'fore I can get at it again

already gotten very wet and chilled, out looking for some 'mini' bulk bags for Vicki to bag up some shingle in, she wants to take up -- they're about 15" cube and ideal for handling 'tween two ppl.

eased off now, but at least we got 4-5 hrs dry this morning that should've been shite
tomorrow afternoon not looking great ... Wed.s evening and over night's gonna be pretty soggy

I spoke to a builder last week...
Reckoned he'd been looking back at site records and between July and Christmas up here last year he had 3 days where it didn't rain at some point during the day....

We've had a nice break in the rain and been able to make some headway...literally putting digger on truck tonight and it started pissing down, enough that would of put a halt to proceeding, was up before the birds this morning getting going and then sat waiting at quarry first in line for the loading shovel when it fired up.
Nice when it makes the difference.
Tomorrow's a bank holiday
