I'm 2 days away from completing a job that's been ongoing for 6 months. Thank god we had a dry spring as its proper wet on the fields now. Just some tidying up of bund's to do, small bit of stock fencing to finish, but if I take the plant on the field its going to make more mess than its worth. The path I put in down next to the river is underwater as the rivers burst its banks - I've got to hand that over somehow next week!
Still, its saved the hour job of watering the trees every day so swings and roundabouts I suppose

Weather is shite, but everything's out. One 7t is functioning on weekly hire as a compound machine loading the skip lorry a couple days a week... the other is busy visiting landscaping jobs that are being supplied with soil by the skip lorry. Theme of the month is the skip lorry :ROFLMAO: If I had two of them they would both be out atm.

At around 4.45pm I was seriously thinking what have I done buying another digger. Got to have been one of the worst working days I have ever had with mud and rain. I used to just look out the window and stay home. Now people expect me to carry on and get the job done!!

Don't get me wrong we haven't had to drag out the dust suppression tankers yet but it is a massive improvement on last week.

Weather here is pretty awful still been strong winds for the last two weeks and heavy rain luckily were on an island so the water doesn't take long to get to the sea

Yep. We are now digging like the blokes on Gold Rush. It is frozen. Mental note to put the thermal ski socks on tomorrow.
