Looks like we've had our promised rain......... all 672 drops of it ,
could really do with it, this is not the weather to be doing landscaping in the gardens of the well healed

we had a similar scud about 3-ish ..
been blowing hard from the SW since this morning and it's headed NE now, with the sun returning behind it --
temp had dropped significantly with it
real bright again now, after going very dark
totally insignificant amount of wet stuff though

massive thunder storm middle of the night - woke me up - right over head and a wild wind with it
real autumn morning here foggy as and can't see across the valley
first time in a loooong time
forecast like it all day and right through 'til Monday morning - next weekend looks no better either
looks like 'summer' is over guys

yeh was headed that way this afters ... was one continuous roll of thunder overhead here most the afternoon and a few torrential down pours ... must've been one hell of a storm above the low cloud base .. bloody loud - could see the occasional lightning flash but mostly the noise which was summat else

Sorry gents, all my fault as we went back to the big pond clearance we started 3 years ago. Gently pushing the beach in to access the far end.still got about 30m to go when the heavens opened up. This is the first load of silt going out.
