Looking into solar thermal panels, Has anyone in any recommendations for these?

When we installed the therm flow cylinder we spec’d it so we could add this on later if we wished.

dont bother they are just worse in all ways to solar PV.

We have Navitron panels and they are pretty good. I have also got various flat panels. We are usually able to turn the oil burner off in April until end of September apart from the odd low sunlight days. Self installed and been well worth the effort!

Does anyone have solar lights in their yard?

Like the idea of them but yard neighbour has installed some cheapo ones and they are crap, soon gave up on them and hardwire some floodlights in.

I don't need to cover a big area, just a few decent PIR floodlights would do the job nicely.

My old man has some solar ones from Aldi and they are really good. However I don't know if it's one of those things they change manufacturer each time round.

I have one above the back door which has a built in PIR and is brilliant ... sadly was given it so no idea where it came from, but has performed faultlessly for several years ... would like a couple more TBH ... has a really good light output and ALWAYS works :cool:

interesting .... SMEs don't normally get a look in on jobs of this scale ... easy targets for bullying by MCs though :(
