Not a lot done today .... lashing down most of the day

... and 'kin cool with it, especially in the wind ... been a bit of a bitsa day
spent some time cleaning some drill shanks, until me arms had had enough of running abrasive tape over them

... I use up old grinding belts, which when well worn are still pretty abrasive, nigh on indestructible and can be cut to whatever you like, from a 1/4" wide upwards and any length to two metres

.. bloody great for cleaning pins ......... and drill shanks

but then me arms gave up

... only several dozen more to go

......... so moved on to summat, a little less strenuous and that I've been meaning to do for a very loooooooong time .......
sort and organise all me taps ... they just got slung in when they arrived

....... they are now sorted ... BSW, BSF, UNC, UNF, BSP, gas & metric, with a few cycle thread/very fine, plus all the small .. 3/8" downwards to B.A., still to be identified .... the eyes had had enough, by the time I got to them
also cleaned/sorted several tap/die holders in need of some TLC and generally re-organised their storage locations too ... as you can probably tell, 'twere 'kin wet today

and has been beating on the box roof, most of the day
phone rang about half four ... carrier down at me far gate, to say he'd dropped a parcel in the flower basket, t'other side of the gate for me, which was good of him

... me number's on the sign on the gate asking folks to keep out

..... was a little soggy by the time I'd gotten back with it, the post and a.n.other small package, which're all sat, 'til tomorrow, in quarantine ...... these however got the thinners treatment
..... didn't do me surgical gloves a lot of good

... but'd hopefully be un-necessary after a thinners bath

.... really can not see any bugs surviving 5 minutes in a bath of celly thinners

hopefully I can get to make some use of them tomorrow

...... 'sposed to be dry for a week again
