We've been working through a tonne bag of offcuts from a friend's fencing business recently. Burns real easy but need to mix it with some decent stuff to avoid buildup!depends on how 'kin cool the next few months areand how long 'winter' drags on for this year

Pam has a mega cough that she just doesn't seem able to shake ... odd thing is I haven't caught it ?We've been working through a tonne bag of offcuts from a friend's fencing business recently. Burns real easy but need to mix it with some decent stuff to avoid buildup!
Picked up a load quite cheaply on our way back from dursley today also so we are provisioned for the next few weeks.
Both of us have been riddled with cold/flu/COVID the last week or so tho.
won't have either of 'em - take my chances - have had 'the coof' 6 times now, with recovery times improving on each occasionHelen has had it for about a week longer than me. I came down Sunday (was an arse cos I missed the second day of the Lego show and had to drag my arse in to collect my display) and have been off work all week.
Stupid thing is she has had both COVID and flu jabs and all I've had is a flu jab. I wasn't allowed a COVID jab or flu jab on the NHS while she was, had to pay for my flu jab. Glad I didn't waste the money on a COVID jab too!
hell of a lot of it about apparentlyI’ve been wiped out since Tuesday with some stomach bug. Won’t go into detailsHad 30+ jobs come in over last 4 days that I’ve got to try and juggle

Most vaccines don't give full immunity, they reduce the severity and duration of the infection.Stupid thing is she has had both COVID and flu jabs and all I've had is a flu jab. Fortunately Rabies is extremely rare in the Uk.Most vaccines don't give full immunity, they reduce the severity and duration of the infection.
An example is the Rabies vaccine (three shots spaced a couple of months apart)
- Without a vaccine, you have 24 hours to seek medical treatment.
- With the vaccine, you have 7 days
Mortality from Rabies when untreated is 100%
True, but not where I'm living and I don't want it.Fortunately Rabies is extremely rare in the Uk.
Dengue is like that - there are four serotypes and your body can't tell the difference between them. So if you've have one of the four, your body produces the antibodies for the wrong type for your second infection and there is a good chance you'll die from it as your bodies immunity is largely ineffective. So you get your jab for flu, you body starts fighting it, but it ignores the need to fight the cough because your body has been confused to fight the version you had jabbed.
Given I grow beef cattle, I thank you for your lifestyle choicea lifestyle choice of massively reducing carbs and eating more meat
We have our own Dexter cattle!! Can’t afford to eat so many steaks otherwise!!True, but not where I'm living and I don't want it.

I know, I'm just having a moan because I'm poorly! Most vaccines don't give full immunity, they reduce the severity and duration of the infection.
