Blown air heater in a container will take up lots of room and make your eyes water and also probably not work very well if the one I had is anything to go by.
Buy yourself a Chinese version of a eberspacher or Webasto. Upto 8kw and compact. Kero is about 6p per kw
idea was park it in the doorway for air supply and let it rip for a few minutes - how 'fumey' are they then ?
that 'un'll run kero or cherry

evening gentlemen - and all you lot :giggle:
thoughts please on this

https://hyundaipowerequipment.co.uk/hyundai-hyw4000p-4000psi-petrol-pressure-washer

fed up with p*ssing about with piddly little 'cheapo' washers
Annovi Reverberi (AR) pumps seem to have a great rep. and spares seem readily available
puts out great pressure and'll 'pick up' from a drum/ibc/whatever up to 2m, or gravity feed
light enough for Pam to handle, it's an easy set up and really puts it out, so'll speed up 'washing' dramatically with 15l/min and 4000psi (y)

have been satisfied with all the other Hyundai stuff I've had/got, carries a 3yr warranty and are likely to be about in 3 years too :giggle::rolleyes:

I have a big diesel Hodna powered beast, but it's a lump - very good - but a lump to handle and is currently tucked away
My mate who works with me has a Hyundai leaf blower and chain saw both are brilliant and he has worked the arse of both . Noisy though . The leaf blower is like a 747 preparing to leave Heathrow

so ........ I am reliably informed (and there's no one more reliable to inform me), by Pam, that on this day 26 years ago I took her out for the first time - on a completely blind date.

Her 'mate' Kevin, from BWW, who ran the workforce, had appeared in my workshop the week before to ask (having been tasked with the job of finding her a single bloke for 'the job'), if I'd consider taking 'the girl from the office' to their crimbo do, as she was fed up of going alone (been divorced 3 years).
I had no idea who she was, what she looked like, etc. - couldn't ever recall meeting her, although I was told I had a while ago.
" what's she like Kev? "
" a good laugh, divorced, 'bout 5' 3", 40, she's alright "
thought about it for a few days and then rang her in the office and said we'd better have an evening out and see if we 'gel' or not - be a bit late at the crimbo do, to find otherwise.

went and picked her up from her place, not knowing who/what was gonna answer my knock at the door:unsure::ROFLMAO:.
So far, so good.
Took her to a nice local-ish pub and had some grub.
I swear she never drew breath all evening " I was nervous " has always been her defence to that one :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
says I hardly said anything - couldn't get a word in edgeways :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
took her home, coffee and more yap, etc., jumped in the Vitesse to leave and the bloody clutch pedal went to the floor :mad:..
fortunately, being me, I'd parked with a straight exit, dropped it into first, turned the key and she started first flick, as always and drove home with no clutch  and that was 26 years ago tonight o_O WTF did that go ????

Stuck the SD on the ramp the following evening, after I'd closed for the day, expecting to have to change the slave - nope - toggle arm was flapping about in the bell housing - box out and the ball that it pivoted on had punched through the arm  hard worn thin and just popped through ...
a.n.other arm (from my extensive stock of spares - I ran SDs for a long time;)) and box back in by nine to go home :giggle:
I could and probably still can, dismantle an SD in the dark, with my eyes closed ;):giggle::ROFLMAO:

Sorry bud meant to say Hyundai , will edit that
I bought, as I think I said a few weeks back, one of their 20" petrol saws recently ... nicely put together, real easy starter and seems to have plenty of guts - went through the butt of a 9" telegraph pole like it wasn't there, for a trial.
It's gonna have a few trees to dismantle shortly

interesting idea Rob ... 12volt though aren't they - hence the power pack/reducer in the pic ..... any specific suggestions and just how much heat do they chuck out
I’ve no first hand experience with these things but a guy who used to work for me swore by them. He did not swear at them. He had them in a caravan, camper van and a canal boat.

The only drawback he did mention is that they are best run at high output so they burn clean. If you run them on ‘tickover’ for long periods they tend to coke up and need to be dismantled and cleaned out. Cleaning out is not a big job though.

Yes they do need an external exhaust but that can be a flexible pipe.

I think the range of heat out puts is something like 4 to 8kW. I have not compared numbers but I would think they would be comparable or the diesel heater would be higher output.

There is a guy on YouTube called Joshua Delyle who has done some playing with diesel heater to get better efficiency from them. I’m not suggesting you would want to go to the trouble he has but he does quote some numbers that you might find useful in your deliberations.

aye, 'spose I was Vin ......
she had the two kids, who were 11 & 13 then and didn't intend to 'intro' me for a while, but a couple of weeks later I got a frantic call in work one afternoon.
She'd been to pick them up from a friend's place, on a farm, had had to reverse for a truck on their drive and had dropped her Disco's front wheel into a ditch - could I help please?
Get there in my old 'historic' RR classic to find the front end sat on the chassis on the N/S -
ditch was 3 ft deep -
got them nose to nose and short slung 'em, high off my bull bar, so's I lifted it as I went back and had it out in five minutes..
think the kids were more impressed with the bloke in a dirty boiler suit, than Pam was
They've been 'as good as mine' ever since  and has always been me they turn to, for anything, in the last 26 years. ;):giggle:
was an 'interesting intro' for them and me .... TBF they're a great pair of kids who're now pushing 38 and 40 , with families of their own.:)
