oh no this is real lifeI assumed this was clever AI or photoshop![]()
if its still here in a few hours il see what it pulls likeA neighbour of mine has been an importer of Chinese tractors for the last 20 years or more - he used to have a few similar 4 axle trailers (that he had commissioned) for delivering kit all around Europe. His thinking was there is less stress on each tyre for the miles and miles of fast straight roads the trailers were running on fully loaded.
Tyres are cheap and tri axle is plenty IMHO.A neighbour of mine has been an importer of Chinese tractors for the last 20 years or more - he used to have a few similar 4 axle trailers (that he had commissioned) for delivering kit all around Europe. Isnt 7m from drawbar the limit for 3.5t vehicles? That just screams pull me, there is a lad local to me with an imported trailer it's massive and regularly tows two vehicles at a time, no idea how he has never been pulledGood news, this just landed in the yard and we can now legally move 8 tonners behind the vanView attachment 74327

The way it’s designed means the skid supports do nothing (unless you are loading a 13 tonner up them!), and they aren’t adjustable.
Towing height wrong?
You’d need to hitch it to a tow bar 3 feet above the ground for the skids to work!Towing height wrong?
or carry two suitable packer blocksYou’d need to hitch it to a tow bar 3 feet above the ground for the skids to work!
Shouldn’t need to fanny about with anything like that on a brand new trailer. It had fixed skids built into the ramps, they were just the wrong lengthor carry two suitable packer blocks![]()

They are a crap design - the old version with the handle either side was much better imo.Annoys the hell out of me when you buy something brand new and feel like you find the issues they should have sorted when trialling before production. I say this as I’ve just bent the stupid tailgate retaining lever on my newish IW tipper![]()
