GH1054BT utilises the tailgate support very well. Too well sometimes as you have to get someone to inch the tow trug forward and force the support back enough to be able to lift the tailgate back up.

Have that on my indespension when machine on back

it's inevitable that it's either too short loading or too long for unloading

I am not keen on the Brian James it looks to have rubber suspension instead of leaf springs, the sides are shallow & they still managed to make it heavier than the GH1054

Isn’t the alumax 2910kg aswell? Just had a look at the brian james one only a 1.3 bed so quite narrow.

The Ad says upto 2910kg payload, so probably need to lose the full width ramp spare wheel etc to get the max claimed payload.

Headline grabber - the assumption from their ad is that they offer a plant trailer with a massive payload (which they do I guess, but it’s only useful for carrying a 2.9 tonne micro digger).

Looks to be similar to the ifor Williams GH1056 which always used to be the lightest in that class. The figures do look very similar, it’s only slightly lighter than the ifor. Good for the 8026

Be useful for 120 rollers or 1.9 and a lot of accessories.
