The solution hasn't yet been invented.
Remember a Victorian report stated that London would be under 10ft of horse muck within years.
Then they invented the internal combustion engine and no more horse muck.
In the short term the only answer is that people consume less. But people are to self centered.

The average speed of traffic is roughly the same as in 1900 in central London,if not slightly slower

There was a saying during Arab petro boom, cells to Cadillacs to camels in three generations, now it seems we are being lined up for a return to grandparents times, less travel, opportunity, deference to the 'betters',while they continue to fly, travel,do as they please

Thanks for checking. Speedo probably reads in kph 24mph is 40kph give or take.
Shame, but that is just too slow for me on the road. Looks a great bit of kit for the right use.
if they bring out a quicker one let me know.

Good old covid. Mate told me the other day that he read one of the main reasons for the chip shortage is shortage of the silicon used in the chips as its being used in the vials for the covid jab.

this could be interesting
" Public ‘want a referendum on Boris Johnson’s net zero plans’ by next general election
Survey finds many people are unconvinced by proposals to turn Britain carbon neutral and would prefer to have their say on the issue "

Can't see it ever happening. There's more chance of a second Brexit referendum....

I agree, but there is obviously a growing rise in dissention in the ranks  ... think one of the main issues is that all those driving these measures forward are least affected by it all and almost certainly stand to profit most from it. ..... read somewhere earlier today that basically they all live in mansions and jet in on their private jets to determine what the rest of the ' proletariat' can least afford and will be affected by the most
