Anyone got any oil shares? I'm on tullow for 26p average. Was hitting mid 50s the other week but don't know if there's bad news on horizon. My layman mind was equating low oil prices with a buying opportunity for oil shares. Not looked at if bp, shell and the like have performed the same?

I had some MEG energy which I got in July last year that a sold last month for a 60% gain when oil hit around $68 a barrel. Not sure what they are now but was happy to take the gain.

Weird feeling the paper profit isn't it. You don't feel it's real till you bank it. I did it last year with pets at home doubled up got to over 10k then sold. Since then it's only gone higher, paid divis in the meantime and my cash has sat being eroded away by inflation.

I try to take profit if it has gone up then fallen back. As always it is down to your own circumstances. I have some that are down 50% but have still held on as I think the fundamental reason I got them is still there. I have quite a lot of gold miners that have fallen in line with the price of gold. Been topping up on some of those with the gains from others.

Bit of interest in lithium mining this last week,ganfeng Chinese co put in view to offer to buy out bacanora,bcn,lithium prospect in Mexico,was a low,cheeky,manipulated bid possibly offering 67p share so about 15% premium to current price,but main interest to me,and the Chinese I believe is bcn 44% shareholding in zinwald,Znwd,which has lithium deposit on German side of border with Czech,where emh are,hoping this is a wake up to euro ev car/ battery makers to snap up both firms before it's too late,Znwd currently up to 15p reckon it can follow emh mebs upto 70p

I did buy a few of Znwd and and few other miners 1 of which dropped after I bought been looking at hydrogen which might be the next power source as the world has now found the chinesse have aquired all the minerals for battery production but I have not bought anything yet most seem to be american companys

Yes. Got a cousin with a wife who works there. A few who have worked with my missus get poached to there too. They're Leics based.

clothing's not cheap, but have to give them their due ... it's bloody good quality stuff...Pam likes their gear and it lasts very well and is always well fitted.

There is a rumour a purchased a few and added some more when the Jap got involved. So see what the news brings!!

Nice one,yeah still sitting on capd,nice looking firm,increasing drill/ load n haul contracts in Africa,was going to sell n put money into Zinwald,german lithium project,but waiting to see what happens with Chinese ganfeng takeover,or rather steal of bcn,who hold 44% of Znwd shares,plus another major shareholder went into adminstration,when these issues solved can see Znwd following emh from the 12/15 p range to 70/100p range

Yeah sold bit of profit earlier in year but still got some,been almost a mirror image of Eua this year,apart from the recent Eua 'spike',steadily down since Jan,bearing in mind Ncm are going flat out to get to the ore,I'm still a big believer in GGP over the next couple of years
Bear in mind I'm only in fairly lol risky shares,it's always good to take profit, specially if you see 100%+
Quite interested in the goings on at ORM at the moment,board of directors been ousted last week,largest shareholder taking over ,owns 23% of firm, possibility of a reverse takeover involving oil firm.Znwd dropping on the 'fear'??? Of solar world and Bcn share holdings in Znwd being up for sale,still holding there and will add,got to be a similar rise to emh sooner or later

No idea,not in the least interested in crypto, specially with Musk' involvement,I mostly work on the principle,if you can't explain it with crayons,I'm not interested lol
