do it as well as you can,but learn to do it better
looks a good deal .. might need to take a look at one of theseNot a bad price less than 300 gets you kit with guide rail too

Is it this one ?There is a specific shaped steel blade for the Evolution saw. I had one to chop up the old 3mm steel oil tank.
Worked OK to cut out some 6mm steel plate yesterday.
more likely to be this 60 toother I'd've thought
Says specifically designed for ssmore likely to be this 60 toother I'd've thought
That’s one for stainless steel bud . The dark blue ones are steel . I’ve not seen one the same as spurrys onemore likely to be this 60 toother I'd've thought
Spurry’s one is the ‘basic’ one, more for cutting wood with nails etc, or small amounts of steel. That’s one for stainless steel bud . The dark blue ones are steel . I’ve not seen one the same as spurrys one
I looked into that but was advised againstit because for cold cut it needs to travel at a different speed or the filings stick to the panels and rustHad a load of panels ,50m insulation and tin both sides m,cut with petrol disc cutter with metal blade ,no probs
surely the ridge is going to be flashed so no exposure to the wet stuff ?I looked into that but was advised againstit because for cold cut it needs to travel at a different speed or the filings stick to the panels and rust

Yes all flashed but the spits of metal stick during the cutting process to the outside if hot cutting and then rust in the weather .surely the ridge is going to be flashed so no exposure to the wet stuff ?
I was just about to put a thread up about this exact subject, but did a search first and found this. I have a load of Kingspan insulated roofing sheets to cut (nicely) and am looking at options. 40mm sheets have approx. 71mm overall dimension Seems the mains powered Evolution saw and rail as shown above is best option, but I need to get a better generator or power onto site first.
I have a Dewalt 54v DCS579 which will cut 61mm, so I might be better off just finding a suitable metal blade that fits that. I think the quite rail will reduce the cut by 2-3mm so might be quite annoying in practice though and need double cutting. This is the only dedicated composite blade I can find.
I missed out on a nice auto start Deisel Stephill silent generator the other day. I may keep looking. Or just pull my finger out and get power into the site temporarily with a 6mm Artic flex. .

Hmmm. Had not considered this. Evolution 210mm mains one runs at 2800rpm. Evolution Cordless (smaller 190mm blade) runs at 3500rpm and my Dewalt DCS579 190mm runs at 5800rpmI think wood circular saws spin at a different speed to ones intended for metal.
