My biggest difficulty in understanding is how not going to work can improve the situation.
I've felt depressed in the past as I'm sure many have, but going to work was my constant, a sense of purpose and achievement everyday. There have been days when I really didn't want to go to work, and either I went in and realized i was being silly and it wasn't all that bad, or I got another job.
I also think a lot of this stems from the wishy washy work environment we have. People clammer to sit in stuffy offices staring at a screen as work like construction is below them, when in reality hands on jobs give a great sense of purpose, self worth, self pride and achievement. And I think a sense of achievement is really important.
Also beating s**t out of stuff helps too

but sadly most are incapable of tying their shoes let alone a hands on job of any description

I like the idea of them as nothing worse than tying your laces up after they've been loose in the mud. But my boots never last long enough to justify.

Tried dealer boots but couldn't do a shift in them as need the laced support and weren't waterproof either after finding a puddle was deeper than expected

I would totally agree with Smiffy. With help from the wife's cousin (he knows more about roofing) we tackled our leaky roof. Over two days we renewed laths & felt & any damaged tiles. First night by the time I had tidied everything my tea was at 10pm! All well worth it as no bowls to be emptied in loft. Massive happiness & sense of pride & achievement from the job considering we are both 64! I paid him his daily rate & covered materials. Because I was involved I can see it was good work with no bodges & not a dodgy stranger out of the yellow pages who may come back & rob us. Done in two of the hottest days but no choice - roofer had a slack time over these days, he is supposed to be semi retired!
I do have to watch my blood pressure & diet, take more exercise rather than watching cricket. I have been told by wife to step back from worrying about politics / state of country - things I cannot alter until next vote, & listen less to 'political guff' on radio. not sure if I can manage this but must try. Roof is one worry in the past

I was like that took a week or 2 to get used to it. I sprayed the boots with protector and it did a pretty good job of sealing them

7. BBC forced to repay 5 years of licence fee to any who request it, empty the bbc pensions fund if needed to meet the bill.
8. The practicing of anti-british culture to be severely discouraged, loss of benefits etc
9. Cap of £60k salary for anyone paid by the public purse.
9. Jail Blair.
if this is true - when do we start

" A Tunisian iman in France gave a sermon calling the French flag ‘satanic’.

Within 8 hours, the police showed up at his house and put him on the first plane to Tunisia.

He had lived in France for 40 years! "
