Best thing you can do with the dmax is have it mapped out to stop the oil dilution. If your doesn't do it, it will.I used to have Volvos and test drove a 850 T5 once. I walked away from that as I thought it might actually kill me one day. Think they used to map them upto 300hp.
I’ve kinda lost the enthusiasm for mapping stuff, it’s never seems as pleasant as a factory tune. I’ve had offer to take Dmax upto 190 odd, but not bothered. Stock 163 seems enough normally. I’ve got my camper running at 185 and to be honest it’s not as nice as the 140 it was before.
I also had it mapped for extra umph and it's night and day. Definitely worth doing. I did use the bloke who's raved about on the Facebook forums, he is definitely recommended and a very knowledge lad, I will be using him again. He does alot more than just remaps, he's proper mechanic.
