Poxy Weather

Properly poxy weather today, grey, cold, damp .
I looked at an interesting little job this morning for later in the week, (not sure I'll be able to take photos unfortunately) then on the way home I realised I'd triple booked the tracked dumper Wednesday onwards
So I spent the afternoon messaging people on marketplace to try and get a cheap and -hopefully -cheerful 2nd one. Shame no one got back to me in time to go and look as that would have been the ideal activity for today, zero enthusiasm to go outside otherwise
Think I've found a machine to look at on Wednesday though

Yeah it's what I call Eastern Bloc weather at the moment- not raining but just grey, dank, lifeless and cold. C'mon Spring let's be having you!

Are you on holiday there or for another reason? We might be going to Slovakia this year for a little trip. Not countries that you hear about being typical holiday destination but beautiful scenery..

Been properly cold and wet, complete with wind and hail the last couple of days on site.

Pretty horrible coming after a spell of nice cold clear days and beautiful sunrises

yep - been utter shite here for weeks ... cold, dank, grey, lights on in the house most of the day, raining most of the time .... weather to slit your wrists by ... desperate to see some sun TBH - none forecast in the next ten days ... day 24 of 'the bug' and just about starting to feel like it is on its way out .... jeez I have taken some painkillers in the last month

Part vacation / 'work' .
It's a really clean city very friendly people and feels really safe when walking around.
Well worth a weekend away.
They are having mass demonstrations at the moment trying to oust the top due to big corruption. There was 1 yesterday but luckily at the otherside of the city from where we were

Weirdly it's not actually been a bad week or so odd patch of sun and daffs and drops are coming up. Slurry spreading today so drier than last Jan/feb

I got up at 6 to get my outside jobs done - as rain/sleet/snow from 9am onwards -- but of course it's too dark to see anything!
To make it worse I've stopped drinking so can't even go off to the pub at 12 !!!
Tea and cake it is !

we actually saw some sun for an hour or so on Tuesday .... back to grim and grey yesterday ..... lashed it down all night and pissy wet again this morning ... deffo milder though ... forecast wet and wild again for two days, then possibly some sun Saturday ..... will it ever end??????
