It will be a waste of time- nowhere near as bad as the hype- always is.
I've circled the salient points and the irony for you:Or alternatively how many go out and crack on and deal with a bit of wind like we used to before nanny state took over. Hardly a breath of wind here
I guess history will be the judge ...I've circled the salient points and the irony for you:

I don't know why you're telling me what the weather is like 12 hrs before the storm peaks, it's irrelevant.
This isn't anything to do with some so called 'nanny state', we've always had the choice of how stupidly we want to act, it's never been taken away from you completely. Apart from some road closures to keep the lemmings from stretching the emergency services too much, you can put yourself at as much or little risk as you like. It doesn't matter to me, i'll still be here at the end of today, some won't be, not my problem.
Haha poor bloke- never gonna live that one down is he!I guess history will be the judge ...
But so far I don't feel like Michael fish![]()
think we got away at the edge-ish again ... not that it hasn't been a wild night - the gusts at half four this morning were seeeeerious - woke me up and'd only just gotten to sleepHopefully not too bad our way but!
nice here - but wildLovely day here blue sky if a tad breezy. Certainly nowt worse than we've had recently
Nowt to write home aboutnice here - but wild
s**t happens every day. Sometimes it is just more concentrated when nature is involved.
My only problem is what appears to be the complete lack of accuracy in current forecasts. I am wondering if there is some form of conspiracy involved!!

Rubbish!!Somebody trying to tell me yesterday if a red weather warning issued and you're out in your car unnecessarily insurance won't pay out if there's been sufficient warning. Anyone heard anything like this before we surely they won't get away with that.
I'd agree, but you know what the T***s are like .... any excuse to wriggle and they bloody well will ...Rubbish!!
The only time you would have a problem is driving recklessly through flood water unless you had just cause!! If the. They are on difficult ground!!

agreed and very hard for them to prove.....I've had a short block on insurance from "optimistic fording" just made sure we towed it a decent way from the location to a A Road before AA turned up..." Deep puddle mate" ...Rubbish!!
