I still drive tractors very occasionally for loads of different farmers and just have never seen it. Claas, valtra fendt Massey. Nicest is the Massey with the shuttle on the loader joystick.

Well tried it - and after some internal debate I took it back. Tractor handled it okay but you couldnt lift a heaped load and the width made me worried I’d be creating too much torsion on the loader arms as @JD450A pointed out.
Seller was a gent and wouldn’t take any money off me. There is a 5’5” one up in Chard that would be a better fit , just about the same width as the front tyres. The bucket that came with tractor is only 5’1” wide.
Definitely do want to get a 4in1 though, much nicer for moving stone about and dribbling 803 about into low spots. I suspect being able to grab stuff up will have it’s uses as well.

It’s got a few war wounds if you look close enough, blade is worn almost half away on outer edges, but yes pretty clean

I'll be honest that looks alright on the tractor... I'd just be worried about twisting but for that money you'd be aswell to buy a standard narrow bucket to dog.
Edit - You already have a standard one to dog.

This one is a 2 hour drive away and about £300 cheaper. 13” narrower but still slightly wider than front wheels. Seller reckons it’s an Albutt but looks different to all the images I can find. The top brackets look a bit over engineered!. Not sure how much lighter it might be. Logic says it will be a better size and kinder on the tractor. The bigger one today wasn’t quite lifting the back wheels off the ground but was close to it, and the rear weight has already been modified with some extra- And that was without trying to get a properly FULL bucket of 803.I'll be honest that looks alright on the tractor... I’d like to complicate this by pointing out that the tractor quicke loader has 3 valves on the loader spool, but only a single flow pipe on the rear. So I have run a pair of hoses from the loader spool to the rear (all on QR fittings) so that I can run 2 way hydraulics on the rear by using the loader AUX lever. Ideal for the dumper trailer as it needs the 2 way to pull it down again. I’m looking out for a PTO powered sweeper bucket with hyd tip as it would be ideal for that also. Next time I’ll ask Dad to buy a higher spec tractor! But given that this was his first new tractor at about age 60…. I’m not 100% that he will be buying another

. My LL where I rent our workspace has a similar set up spread over about 12 acres. Last time I counted there were 29 dead HGVs and 360s knocking about

Went on a little road trip this afternoon and fetched this back. Would have made more sense to get it put on an oversize pallet, but fancied a solo run.
Hopefully get the couplers swapped over and then try it for size later in week. £875+vat

Still think I might be tempted with one of these one day.. Euro 8 adaptor would mean all the bale handling kit would swap over as well.

They do hold the money well for a tidy one.
Definitely a handy yard machine and still loved by most traditional builders merchants/aggregate suppliers round here.
