Very handy for yard use, even better with a quick hitch so you can use with forks too!
I’m all out of ££ for toys currently. Got a mates Kx613 storing at mine which I can use, and now a 4-1 bucket for the little tractor …. So that will do me on the farm/shed project for now and not cost me ££ in the progress.looks pretty square @Stroppymonkey

Mind you If I was called Dan I might have gone for it
Nice to see a machine that’s been looked after
I think there is a super rare version called a farm mater, with 3 point linkage and pto.Still think I might be tempted with one of these one day.. Euro 8 adaptor would mean all the bale handling kit would swap over as well.

Think I'm right in saying they just had larger tyres, ballast block and possibly a hydraulic pickup hitch off a telehandler.I think there is a super rare version called a farm mater, with 3 point linkage and pto.
There is another JCB like that called the CX? Removable back hoe ? Hens teethI think there is a super rare version called a farm mater, with 3 point linkage and pto.
Yeah, definitely larger tyres, was the counter weight on the 3 point linkage?Think I'm right in saying they just had larger tyres, ballast block and possibly a hydraulic pickup hitch off a telehandler.

My dads first machine was a2d , I spent many hours sat in it as a kid.If I could find a tidy enough one I would love to try and restore it and use as a yard machineTo be fair if you could find a tidy one JCB did a 2D? back in the day. Based on a Nuffield/Leyland. 3point, PTO, backhoe etc.
A jcb 2dx was a 2cx street master with prity much a 3cx rear end on it.Google says a 2DX is an 2wd 49hp back hoe with canopy and optional 4WD?
Also seems the Farm Master just has a weight in place of the Compressor compared to the air master .. with bigger wheels.
Useful tool
Presumably I bit iffy when out to the side.. 2cx not very wide?Decent reach on that little machine
