That’s nice to hear.Possibly when under pressure!
Shaft arrives on thursday probably. Then I start reasembling.

try comparing/measuring the original and the new Bellville washers under given loads ... the old ones may have lost their tensile strength a little , so could well not be 'pushing' hard enough, under load ... their free measurements might not give you the true pictureNew disk springs arrived today. Stacked together I measured the old ones to be 0.2-0.3mm shorter compared to the new ones.
Could that be enough to cause the cylinder block to not push enough to the valve plate?
Can’t really think of a good way to load them and then measure them. But yes I do believe these have lost some tension and were at least partly causing some problems to the motor.try comparing/measuring the original and the new Bellville washers under given loads ... the old ones may have lost their tensile strength a little , so could well not be 'pushing' hard enough, under load ... their free measurements might not give you the true picture![]()
build a stack - put a pin/long bolt through the centre - and down through say a hole in a bench top and load the pin with maybe a spring balance, underneath, or a weight on the top ... see what difference in travel you get at given loads ?Can’t really think of a good way to load them and then measure them. I wonder also if that is normal… Maybe @Mick-the-fitter knows?my two pennorth ... when I was trying the Tico winch recently (piston motor) I forgot to couple the case drain on the first trial .. not an issue in the one direction, but as soon as I ran it the other way the loose cap on the drain port sprayed oil - big time - so it's possible that the one direction does leak more than the other?.. haven't tried it since (with an open ended line connected - only to tank )
Thanks a lot.Sorry been away for a few days, fixing tractorswill print off some stuff for you tomorrow relating to anything slew motor TB 1140

Thanks a lot for this. I actually have some other type in my machine. Seems like later serial numbers have the ones you posted and I can see why, because the one you posted looks a little mire rigid, with stronger springs and everything. I actually believe that the ones that my machine has is prone to breaking down, because they are also installed in 12ton Hitachis and this is a nearly 15ton machine. Also my machine has an offset boom that Hitachis don’t, which must contribute to more load in my opinion…Ok so normal stuff Printer wouldn’t print from my laptopbut I’ve taken photos from the big screen,
51400007I think it’s doing well at 12000 hours with a little drift on slew! Serial number? I will check again tomorrow
There should be another digit, normally 9 digits, can you film the slight drift?51400007
Do you maybe know what else could be causing this slight drift still?
I will check again later on my machine, but I do believe this is the correct serial. I looked at ads on the internet now and saw that all Takeuchis from 2006 have 8 digits. There should be another digit, normally 9 digits, can you film the slight drift?
