I can drop the lights on chains but still 5 ish m in the air?
the ones in me shed are 4m up, but give excellent light ... aside from the areas shaded by the overhead shelvingI love LED Strips like Druid.
Just fitted a few:

Brilliant light if you can get them down low enough?
I'd an incling you'd ask...How did you attach the batton in the container?
I'd an incling you'd ask...
Trapped batten either side of roof d rings, prob needs pic to explain.
And sika flex! Tried a self driller no chance!
This worked treat, will send pic next week.
surprised a Tek screw wouldn't have it ... used 'em to put a batten up in me tool box to the roof ribs .. worked a treat ..... 's a real old box with a curved roof and ribbing ..I'd an incling you'd ask...

The higher they are the less shadows you’ll have..I can drop the lights on chains but still 5 ish m in the air?
should o' given him some orange tinted sunglassesThe trick with LED is to ensure that you're using a fitting with some sort of diffuser - otherwise it can end up a bit harsh.
Mind you, this reminds me of the time I changed a trade counter's lights from a dull orange to daylight, and one of the whiney staff complained they were hurting his eye and burning him.
Needless to say nobody believed him and he soon shut up.
be impressed if that is all you needHad a electrical company out (wholesale) who do a spec service with lighting.
Suggested 12 x 48w 6 ft tubes lowered to around 5 meters.
Going to run with it
got a link to that Alex?I just bought a 600x600 modular LED (normally used in suspended ceiling grids) but in a surface mount frame. Bloody amazing in my small office!

5 x 4 ft doubles in me box ... gives a decent light to do summat in .... conventional starter-less tubes though ... went up before the LEDs were so easy (and cheap) to acquire ...... they'll do 'til they die ....I'm not sure, it was all one unit but provides very even light.
sounds like a good candidate for some over - bench/machine lightingI was very impressed with this unit for the cost. It is bleeding bright though, H hates it ;l
You have to be careful when it comes to machine lighting using LED, the strobe effect can have the effect of making a spindle running at a high rpm look like it’s stopped. People have a tendency to put their hands close to things they think are stoped and it can cause serious injuries. We have fitted special led lights to machines and quite expensive but bloody good.sounds like a good candidate for some over - bench/machine lighting![]()
