Sorry - yes, I mean what you mean not what I thought I meant!!!
@Furniss - mine are set up so that my left ‘trigger’ finger presses the ‘press to make, press again to break’ button and this switches what my right thumb rocker switch does. Both my Bobcat and Takeuchi had this front switch as a spare, which was good.
Yes I have spare ....dont know why I thought it would be press n hold for gripper, makes more sense latching.

Your "spare" is probably momentary so would need a latching relay to make it press to make, press again to break ... as it'd only be handling the current draw from a solenoid coil (low) a solid state relay'd handle the job
mechanical latchers are expensive in comparison

Are you sure there isn't enough flow through the aux on the bottom of the tiltrotator to run the shear? If your talking for occasional use id be trying that first once it arrives you can always add a diverter later if it's a problem

TMK 300 recommend 80 - 150lpm
Can't seem to find any figures for the aux flow on the ec206

Was dead unfortunately :)
They are plenty strong enough, mine have had plenty of similar abuse and are still straight!
Yeah its just when they are only 5mm bigger than the 3t they are going to look pretty puny, at the moment it's using the old kubotas buckets which are 60mm.

Digger started taking about 5 seconds to stop after key was turned, lifted cover and stop solenoid was loose, took it right out cleaned it up and put it back but still taking a few seconds to stop ....if i disconnect selenoid it stop immediately so seems like its not the selenoid but bloody coincidental if not related, what's people's thoughts ?

Weird one, but I’d say it’s just the solenoid gone, I’ve replaced afew over the years on different engines.
Like you say it's strange, where's the 5sec come from and why is it so regular also when plug pulled on selenoid it stops immediately 🤔

Maybe check to see if there is any power still going to it once switched off? Ie ignition off doesn’t entirely cut power to the solenoid instantly? Could be faulty ignition? But suspicions that solenoid was actually loose so I’d still say that.

is the armature in the solenoid 'gummed' up/sticky and taking time to release? .. should snap shut/open when power is released/engaged ... tried operating it with it removed to see what speed the armature moves at ??

I figured that when I pull the plug it shuts off immediately means it's OK?

would seem to indicate a 'hanging' voltage from somewhere
Cat 432d used to suffer with that quite abit. I never had it but I drove a few that did, so I don't know the answer...but was some form of electrical hang on.

could possibly be alternator related ... diode going faulty and back EMF-ing via earths
