Having a look at that et65 whilst having a sarni and that looks a great setup for the money, someone thats had the toys put on it is going to have looked after it ..... one i just setup had 2800hrs on it but otherwise it makes my route seem expensive.
someone go buy it before i do

Whats the s45 setup with say a grader on weigh versus the s40 équivalent ?

Id estimate that to be approx 180 - 200kg heavier that your set-up.
For instance, our Hurricane S40 coupler is approx 36kg and a S45 is about 145kg.
Then you gripper is going to be heaver, you s45 frame and your S45 bottom coupler.

The Et 65 handles the s40 brilliantly but like you say an extra 180kg is no good....i presumed it was an X06 like the one we had on a hired in kubota 5.7t once which was a neat little unit.

Seen this for sale, I think it’s dear enough for not having a control system but maybe I’m expecting too much? Would suit my machine perfectly!

For context, i recently sold our Demo R2 300 hrs on it for 15k fitted.

Good luck with a 10k bid if hes starting at 17k but you don't know till you ask.
Mine was 20k no ec oil blocks but det gripper - 3 buckets - 6p version - fitted.

Much much easier job when you have this sorta setup !

17k with no control system for a 3 year old machine seems steep even with ec oil??

Seems like it - does it say 650hrs ? If thats right its nothing though - but as you say , hassle factor, no guarantee, sorting control system .... prob 12.5 is fair ? What are they new in that spec 25k + vat ?
did the buckets melt or do you get them with it

yes 650hrs so should be fine, hassle, working out what is and isnt there. control system for ??? rc2 rototilt was low 20s with a gripper, no quickoil brand new.
I guess ec oil adds a bit of value?
needs to be 12 ish if a control system is 4k ish.
