Great machines to tow to a site and do exactly this - very impressive in what they can handle and stack, and nice to drive too. Loads of power and really smooth, when ours goes out it always makes money!

Sorry to jump in here since it's not a "job" comment but I have been meaning to ask about quick hitches for the JCB 8018
I just bought. I have seen comments about spring hitches vs. a Harford pro-lock, with the pro-lock being more secure, less wear prone.
I see hurricane makes a manual S30 unit, how does it compare with a pro-lock.

Swapped tilty over to old machine as need Hitachi to do a few warranty bits to the new one (10 months old now )
Fuel tank strap threaded end has broken probably overtighten when they installed the refueling pump
Wiper motor after working for some time starts howling probably winding part hitting outer housing
Also a vibration underneath cab from hydraulics vibrating a plate or panel sounds an electric wood plainer a chippy would use
Just glad have both machines as can't afford down time with work load

Yep both are kitted out with dc2

I quite liked the remote mounted oil filter on the 175s so it was easy to get at, only to have the filter upside down so it pi**ed the oil down the back of the engine when you took it off

Servicability is not the 175's strong point..... the oil filler location is the biggest ****.

Looks a great idea. The hydraulic filling on my loader is a two man job.

Chinese one off eBay. They’ve gotten pricey though as bulky and shipping costs soared. Will post links for all later. Meanwhile, by ten O clock
