not half. Those trees plus stumps and dig out was £2800 plus vat. Two days two men, £2100 plus vat left after wages, grab lorry and fuel. She does like a drink though- 15 litres a day if you’re pushing it hard.

How does the little Sherpa compare to the muck truck?

What's the difference in travel speed? The powerbarrow I have is a fast walk and good on hills.

What about volume of muck?

The sherpa looks much more of a machine but at a cost. I mainly do patios, lawns and driveways so wouldn't really need any of the other attachments.

High capacity 76cm bucket or the 118cm bucket must carry about the same as a muck truck. Bit faster on the travel.
It’s so much more of a machine- self loading, high tip, can make precise piles, level out stone etc. Where are you based?

It’s a Strickland- the geometry is spot on. I like the rsl blade idea but their geometry is wrong imho. One day I’ll weld something onto this to test the teeth idea.

East side of Manchester, on the edge of the countryside. It's a lovely area albeit very hilly. Access is always the biggest issue.

The power barrow I have only has the smaller bin, 250kg apparently so load wise I can't see me losing out. I'm thinking that I'd be better off investing into one of these than a useless, lazy, unreliable, fair weather labourer.

Pretty impressive- is yours the biggest they do? So it would load a 2 to. Dumper ok? Has the guts to push a bucket into a pile of 803?

They do a diesel one which is a touch wider. 2t dumper no problem to load. You might need a run up into a pile of crush and I find it works even better if you step off and run it into it whilst pushing a bit.
Got to be realistic, it only weighs 570kg dry.

This was yesterday
New dumpers are useless this one won't tip out all its load fully even on the flat
Ment to be a 3 ton looks and seams the same size as a 2t dumper
Got to constantly plug and unplug seat belt to make it move, then it beeps the bloody horn twice if you stop then move again

Yeah had 1 few months ago ended up shearing the tipping lever which I think was 8mm dia at best
