Only a matter of time until you invest in the sweeper attachment ๐Ÿคฃ if you know ๐Ÿคฃ
Hmmm can't see that happening any time soon - i dodnt look honest, but apparently there's one that attaches to detachable gripper module or some such thing but you'd have to be working on the roads to warrant one, maybe.

I dont know ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ you always leave me some sort of riddle to decipher - like the joker out of batman (was it?)

Good days progress today, should be finished by Saturday ๐Ÿ‘
Finding it quite frustrating working with 3 young lads though- they're all fairly good workers, nice enough guys but- they seen to have zero ability to make jobs easy for themselves, or efficient. And as for doing little tasks on the side to keep things moving, or god forbid using a broom, forget it! Then they claim they're knackered at 4.30- I suggested we do another pallet (about 20minutes) as it's not raining, you'd think I'd suggested another 4 hours๐Ÿ˜† ๐Ÿคฃ
Makes me sound like a grumpy old man I know, ๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜† but a bit of thought and a bit of extra effort in the right direction makes things 3 times faster, and as they've been told they're getting paid for 7 days even if we finish in 5 or 6 you think they'd listen....๐Ÿคท๐Ÿป๐Ÿคท๐Ÿป

they never seem capable of being one (or several) steps ahead these days -- makes a job go so much quicker, if say, you can turn around and the next tool/component/step is there in front of you ... just no drive/enthusiasm to get it done :cry:

It's certainly too much to ask of most.

I had a bloke years ago who helped me out, wasn't smart, but you'd be doing somthing and think 'oh I need this', you'd turn around and it was in his hand passing it you. Rare breed now.

I honestly prefer working for the older customers.

My old man was like that :) takes some effort on their behalf to be actively watching what your doing and thinking ahead like that, easier just to wait to be asked i guess.
I have a bloke now who is o.k tbh (very available at short notice if i want a lift) but interrupts you mid sentence to tell you he knows which always begs the question !

Just to put a word in...they still exist albeit they need the right training from year dot..
But my nipper at 13 has "got it" ...from my dad I think .... constantly thinking about the next step and getting stuff prepped ..honestly a joy to work with. Worked with blokes in their 50s that havent got anything like as much gumption.
Screen time has a lot to answer for imo..can make folk utterly retarded .

To be fair the youngest of the 3 I'm working with is only 17 but he needs far less explaining to than the other 2, and actively tries to find things that need doing ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘
If he carries on as he is in a years time he'll be the leader of the 3 of them.
The others aren't bad lads, just can't see past the exact small task they're doing at that moment.
We'll see how tomorrow goes, going for a big push to get it done ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘
