Dumper starter motor went without any notice on the 1 day we had site area shut down to public access to get the stone in. Started last night to park it up without any problem. Ordered new one after trying banging it and taking it off and connecting it to jump pack.

Had to use the tipper lol 😂 must have heard me thinking of swapping it for a non tipper lol. Tricky reverse in up hill rd corner with 5 buckets full off the 5 ton of limestone mot 2.5-3ton

Less than 200 hours but now 3 years on the dx10 paint pealing off in sheets on some bits

Joys of a NT carpark bmw dumped it over path exit while we’d walked in to get machine (3 min max) just squeezed through

Wanted to leave a big rock by drivers door but thought better of it lol
Paint is coming off our Eurocomach too in places, 1 year old and less than 100 hrs..

To be fair it's mostly on bolted on parts, the little covers on the blade ram and track adjusters etc.

Plastic manholes had collapsed, probably don't like the weight of the van and trailer going over them.
That should keep her from yapping at me every feckn 6 months now. 😁

My one complaint is that the rear beavertail does ground out as much off-road as I’d worried. Trouble is I’d say it has to be that low for the ramp supports to work!

It’s build strong, it’ll stop the truck dead but doesn’t look like it’ll damage the trailer much when it happens.
Yeah I forgot my IWT beaver used to ground out too, had a job up in the peak park and it would scrape everywhere - on road!

Now here's a thought 🤔 fit an Brian james tilt kit to that lovely tipper of yours and do away with the beavertail🤔
Im confused. The tipper is a tipper, how do you make it a tiltbed? PLus its not long enough.

I want to just drop the ramp and load, and this beavertail carries everything I've asked of it very well. Even a tiltbed is too much hassle as its two things you have to do- tilt and the ramp.

Acoustic screen at the Dumfries Ice Bowl.
Cracking along yesterday and today, job has been made so much easier by having plenty of room, a flat road way to work in and a helpful telehandler driver 👍👍
Going through nuts and bolts by the 100, near on a full time job for 1 guy keeping us supplied 😆

Maybe I just haven’t had to get any awkward places but genuinely can’t remember grounding out my Iw beavertail locally 👀
My mates 14ft beavertail ifor always scrapes on the way in and out of my yard. Would put me off having one, especially as he still has and uses the same rear legs as my 14ft flat. I've never used them on mine, but obviously it's nice to have the option if needed.
Can totally see why a beavertail is better for some though 👍
It'll be a very long time before I got rid of the 14ft dropside flatbed though, most versatile trailer there is for me.
