Did this job back in July but saw it today and starting to settle in.
Old wall along drive was collapsing and the adjacent ditch forever silting up and hard to clean out so rebuilt the wall and lined drive with big rocks then concreted the gulley for the seasonal stream to run in. All goes round the corner for about the same distance again too.

Mixed bag today- started with an enclosure install out the back of a deli in Pimlico. Good access, easy parking and the unit went together lovely 👍 But- every so often the vents in the kitchen window pumped out industrial level fish cooking/waste smells 🤢🤢 had me gagging a couple of times
Got back mid afternoon so picked up a couple of new wheels and tyres for the big plant trailer- no more bloody low profile 13s 👍👍
Took the 23r up to a customers field up the road and did a few hours tidying up brambles and old bonfire piles. Cup/phone holder working well for something designed for baby buggies 😆 🤣
Temperature dropped bloody rapidly around
6pm, lovely and clear though 👌

Had my hedge cutting contractor around this morning , in and out of afew different sites - I like to follow behind with the leaf blower where we have cars in and out. Asked him how many hrs on his tm115.. just going into 19k hours with never any problems on it , amazing really! He’s 84(I think give or take) and only works will lunch now, but he’s as quick and neat as anyone out there! 😎

Finished up the field tidying job this evening, it's come up lovely, really nice place with the trees getting a bit bigger and the grass/brambles cut 👍
Only took a couple of hours so I was able to get a couple of barn jobs done too while I had the digger there 🙃

That is some fine stone work!

Got my old work van back on the road (yesterday) It’s had about £4-5k thrown under the bonnet after the turbo fell apart and got digested into and through the old engine. Hopefully it was a wise investment long term as you can’t buy much else with that money. This one is the very last of the MK7s and the limited spec/3.5T and rear step/sensors so about as nice as you could get at the time. I said when I bought it (used) that it would be the last MK7 I kept running … time will tell!
A good hoover out first and then really nice to have all my tools back in one place again and actually be able to get out on a few jobs to earn £££ rather than being stuck in office.
Bloody auxiliary battery has just died so need to sort that out now. Something is draining it as it was replaced 18 months ago. Think my aftermarket lights in the back have a sticky relay and not going out when they should.
