Yes customers “design”, they have three full time gardeners so practicalities aren’t really a consideration .It’s actually all going to be planted up along each step eventually.

Telehandler broke down ,and brake line failure on the disco ,so all in all a non productive day

Finished a job I've been on for last few days had to dig and lay a new 32mm water pipe to replace the old black one for a farm starting at the pump hose at the bottom of the hill along an old leat it still had 2 huge 3ph pumps connected to a 6" pipe that used to supply a tannery 5 miles away that are still in situ but long since redundant and they have a small pump and pressure vessel there for the farm did 300m of trench after the old leat it was straight up a steep field up across another field through the farm yard and up to the water tank
Unfortunately only took one of the steep field had to later that day go up it with the auger attached made for an interesting accent back down after once doing the strainer post holes as no go for a tractor with post banger the intermediate posts will be thin metal poles that wire clips too hammered in with a petrol driven post driver
Cable to right is nigh on level and hill wasn't an easy walk up

must be some ''small pump'' to give that sort of head -- that is some steep field

We are all ruined with water filled supermarket bacon. Go get some proper dry cured fat bacon (usually more fat than lean) and fry it off till just before crispy.. then a slice of bread wiped around the pan is about the best treat you can get

I get as much as I can from our local butchers...not to coin the saying, but you can taste the difference and its not like its mega more expensive than the supermarkets. If only the masses realised the cheapness of supermarkets comes at a cost somewhere, as well as relying on the laziness of people visiting different shops for different things.

The visiting different shops is out the window due to the women of the house now having to work. The small independent shops can't stay open late and open Saturdays so it would leave the average family with a very busy Saturday. We have tried all the delivery things in the past like riverford vegetables and the milkman/grocery man but it's is all just far to expensive and usually ends with a lot of waste.
And markets in this country are either farmers markets that require a second mortgage or town centre markets selling watch straps and 10 packs of loo roll for the price of 9.
