I very much like that forklift!
For what it cost and what it does for me so do I. I just don't do it justice with maintaining it. Wish I could get the in board axle brakes fixed.I very much like that forklift!
Pipes have gone like bananas in the heat!! Looking forward to the same problem next week where we have 1in80 and and not a lot of tolerance to get the furthest connection in!!Had a 1.7 Yanmar on hire this week. Good bit of kit but i'm no connoisseur. Had seatbelt on when ontop of / around that pile of soil as keep remembering the OOPs thread.
Hose burst on old forklift, 2 hours and 30 quid later was good to go again.
Beware cheap underground drainage. The stuff in the picture is going back. They say it's kite marked and British standard but it is honestly about half the weight of a normal length of pipe. Said they sell 500 lengths a week and nobody has ever complained! - apart from me now.
Rang Buildbase they said ours is 11 quid plus VAT but it's the dogs. Turns up and every length was banana. I reckon some 3m lengths had over 30mm of bend in them. When your working with 1:80 falls it's not going to happen. Told them to swap, bought out more of the same sent the lot back! Eventually got some plain ended gear, just under 8 quid a length, flo plast lovely stuff and the right weight/thickness. Never had so much trouble getting decent drainage in my life.

Yeh winget. Would it be a just change the axles jobby? Im sure I looked into it a year or two ago seem to remember master cylinders and all this n that.
What I can say is the fluid resivours for the brakes are brittle empty and broken!
I would say 3t as weighs over 2t.
I looked into it and master cylinder replacement seemed the way forward it just bamboozled me at the time though
this is just the sort of info. that needs to get put into a 'directory' of suppliers/contacts thread on here, so it's easily found
none in the spiders on the props @Jimoz ?? and the frame steer links?? ..... rope oil is great stuff for the chains ... stays put or spray on chain lube ...... and a short bristle paint brush to spread the grease on the mast's my favorite weapon of choiceGave the girl some grease today. Could only find 2 points. Both on the pivot. Just got to do the mast and chains now. What shall I use on the mast just the same grease I put in mates gun?
Spiders, steer links - convert to idiot for me!
Short bristle brush and rope oil I can understand
Ah right .... thought you were talking about the mast base pivotsYeh got them I called them pivot points ha! Will look for those others

And took it for a spin View attachment 8649
Pretty nice machine to use. Really got to grips with grab and rotator, made the job a lot easier. Have knocked up another hitch plate to go direct to grab for pulling out small roots etc.
