do it as well as you can,but learn to do it better

Video too big to put directly on here so had to upload elsewhere, but this was it at 50 hours. Fitter was out around 70ish and seemed fine but less than 20 hours it's back to the same. All the rams have a lot of sideways movement in them too

tha's lift though Brendan .... could be shimmed out .... it's not wear in the pins/bushes ;)

... had hydraulic oil leak from gasket between pump and engine which I think may have come back.....
shouldn't be any oil at all there .. the 'gasket' will be purely for seating ... if you've oil leaking there you either have a crank seal leaking or your pump seals are leaking - most likely pump ... the 'bell housing' should be dry

I do have a small amount of forwards and backwards play to, but could just be where it lifts.
He refitted the gasket and added sealant to it

What size ramps are you using to get it on the tipper? All the talk of ivecos on here has got me thinking about one to use allong side the shogun.
8ft, but I wouldn’t let anyone else do it. Gonna treat myself to a pair of 10ft alloy ramps.

the fact still remains there should be zero oil in the bell housing @Brendan :rolleyes: .... he's just sticking an elastoplast over the issue :( ... ask him where the oil is coming from  ...... one of two places - rear crank seal or front pump seal - and both are a fault :(

Big trimming job on today. Strimmer was playing up actually on anything other than tickover. Primer bulb also squeezed in. Took fuel filter off and seems to have fixed. New fuel filter to order now

Had a 1.7 Yanmar on hire this week. Good bit of kit but i'm no connoisseur. Had seatbelt on when ontop of / around that pile of soil as keep remembering the OOPs thread.
Hose burst on old forklift, 2 hours and 30 quid later was good to go again.
Beware cheap underground drainage. The stuff in the picture is going back. They say it's kite marked and British standard but it is honestly about half the weight of a normal length of pipe. Said they sell 500 lengths a week and nobody has ever complained! - apart from me now.
Rang Buildbase they said ours is 11 quid plus VAT but it's the dogs. Turns up and every length was banana. I reckon some 3m lengths had over 30mm of bend in them. When your working with 1:80 falls it's not going to happen. Told them to swap, bought out more of the same sent the lot back! Eventually got some plain ended gear, just under 8 quid a length, flo plast lovely stuff and the right weight/thickness. Never had so much trouble getting decent drainage in my life.
