Lots of people may not have to be fair its not obvious where to go and the forum thread over there has fallen down the order. I dont want to poach in such a way as its everybodys choice

Lots of people may not have to be fair its not obvious where to go and the forum thread over there has fallen down the order. I dont want to poach in such a way as its everybodys choice

leave that one with me Ross ..... virtually nil traffic over there these days anyway ...... I'm waiting to see if it melts down when my thread hits 1,000,000 views ...... it ain't far off ... couple more weeks and it could have a hissy fit

I really don’t or didn’t want the demise of that place. But well Easter 2020 is due soon . Shame to lose so many members. Last time
I looked the leader had not been on in two years. Such a Shame

Aye, the depth of knowledge to be potentially lost is extremely sad .... especially all of Tim's .... aside from everything else to be found there .... as you say .... such a shame Julian's abandoned it .... yet continues to fund it

Slow progress as anything I have played around with different searches in and it it very high up the pages( google ) but forums are a dying thing in many forms so that makes it harder. I have played about with social media but can’t keep doing it weekly as I’m posting in other people’s groups which isn’t ideal. It’s circa £400 for a half page advert in earth movers for a month which is pretty hefty. The long game is the only game I can see at the moment unless anybody has any ideas

I put a link to this place on digger man fb and it was promtly removed. It has somthing to do with Trax as i also tried to promote the dozer book signing after Trax passing at plantworx 2017 and he didnt want to do it

IIRC, Earthmovers use to have a simple banner ad on the CEF. Perhaps Graham Black would be up for some form of a quid pro quo here, Ross. I'm sure it's an age thing (I wouldn't see 50 again if you gave me a telescope) but there will be users here that wouldn't go anywhere near SM for the sort of in-depth detail you get in this forum.

Haha...well you obviously haven’t seen him on a machine then doob, Nick is an exceptional driver and not just on one machine either, there won’t be many machines that he can’t drive to a high standard, he also ran a successfully company for a many number of years too. It is a big loss to the forum because someone who is as well respected in the industry in this country and abroad by his peers and manufacturers, could bring a lot traffic this way.
The whole point of this new forum been set up, was to get away from the old place and get a fresh injection of life into something that all like minded people can get involved in. Should you ever get to meet him you’ll actually get to see what a genuine bloke he is, with exactly the same interests in Plant as yourself.
