They are not terrible. @Regy53 sells the Lumag version and might do you a forum deal if you ask nicely.

I took a punt on one at a very good offer price a few years ago and it's exceeded expectations. It's much faster than a normal hydraulic one, although you need to really 'drive' it- it's gears with steering clutches. You need to really watch your hands on the handlebars in tight gaps- easy to catch on something. The high tip is proper high- easily clears a Transit tipper, unlike the Hinowa which many rave about. I had to heat and bend the handlebars so that they were a comfortable height. You can open the revs up to make it even faster but it can get a bit buzzy with vibrations.

The gearbox was my main worry but it's been fine so far. Oil still perfectly clear when I checked it. Loncin engines are no bother at all so don't worry about that. The main weak point has been the steering and drive cables, all of which let go at well before what I would consider a normal service life. I rebuilt them myself as spares were stupid money and out of stock. It needs proper thick (2.5mm) cables for the drive in particular.

Got to say though, that Crytec does look like they've used a lot of cheaper parts. I'm sure @Regy53 will be able to explain further.

This pic was pre-loader days! It's a good match for the E10, but like all high tip dumpers the E10 with a quick hitch has a very narrow working window in which it will reach up into the skip.View attachment 31345

Cheers Doobin,

Yeah we obviously sell lumag, i have avoided some stuff and sold what I believe in more than anything. I try my best not to sell the cheap cheap stuff but some times people ask. The Lumag Doobin has is pitched towards the kind of one man band type thing rather than contracting. Generally because the guy who owns it will treat it properly. They wont stack loads of abuse from guys who dont care, they will break handles, not adjust things correctly and all that.

No gearbox issues only cables as mentioned.

Reference other brands. They are not all the same that is for sure. I know who makes the red ones i looked at it ourself. In the end cheaper steel, less weight, cheaper components etc all come into play.

The fact is Lumag ride a German name but truth is they are mainly china sourced with German influence on design or what spec they want. The VH range is Italian. I have found Lumag a great little number because they have UK support and then German support too. Your not dealing with somebody who wants to import a container full of branded gear from china and call themselves a manufacture.

Had mine a long time and it's brilliant... obviously not high tip, there is an high tip attachment for them I believe, but if you wanted high tip you wouldn't buy that.
They are really controllable and well built.
Not sure if that one has the blade on the front like mine but again thats really useful, also it can be used as a power pack to drive other attachments, when we used to do a fair bit of curbing it was brilliant with the mixer on to track along laying a bed and haunching up etc.
At 3700 if it's in good mechanical nick you could do a lot worse.
Wouldn't be without mine, will keep it around home when I stop the business.

Messaged him, he won’t split at this point. But if anyone wants it looked over/picked up then let me know.
Blec'd make 1000 quid all day in Brightwells ... don't see 'em often ...... how do you value a split @JD450A

I'm pretty sure I've used this exact machine before for a previous company, very unique setup and very good indeed, would be a shame to split! If I remember correctly there was a hydraulic leak but that was a while ago. If I hadn't just brought my tracked dumper I'd be on that straight away.

Might be very good, but that blec would be better on my tractor.
