Interesting development ref Mexican government taking control of lithium deposits?
Wonder if this will affect gangfeng making take over unconditional,if they pull out can see sp drop,Bcn shareholders been royally stuffed by bod all imho of course,if I were holding them and in profit I'd be inclined to get out?

er....... pardon? :unsure::unsure:
Znwd is a German lithium deposit that had/has reasonably large number of shares held by,a) solarworld who went bust,b) Bcn,a Mexican based lithium deposit, currently likely ? To be taken over by Chinese firm Ganfeng,Znwd shares given out to Bcn shareholders.Uncertainty over what happens,large blocks of shares up for sale at once,being used to drop Znwd share price

Not tipped on here but one of my mining explorers Great Bear Resources was the subject of a takeover offer this week. Happy to take the 70% gain since March. Makes up for the 94% paper loss on Napster that is going private after almost running out of cash!!

Maybe, just ‘lost’ a big chunk worth of funds… but maybe it’s time to invest more while it’s low? Then who knows what the mad man’s move will be next, everything could be vaporised by next week anyway!

not going to lie ... I know sweet FA about it all, other than, it's a form of gambling and that's summat i have never been interested in ... yes very attractive returns... for big risk .... money's always been too hard earned and i've always looked after it carefully
This has been my thoughts previously but I saw something that made me think about it.
Where do you buy shares? And are there any good apps that show useful info?

You can buy shares at most banks some building soc, brokers or download an app there is a few I use HL but AJ Bell looks decent
at the moment I like the look of ARVL its been dropping a lot lately down 90% since launch but have a lot of big names behind them and a lot of orders for EV vans and buses and a car for uber with a new sort of factorys in UK and USA it could be as big as Tesla or broke so would only put on what you can afford to lose if worst happens

There are numerous share dealing options,t212 appears attractive with no trading fees,but there is still a price to pay,I use Hargreaves Lansdown,there's two costs when buying a share,trading fee a payment to the broker per transaction,also there's the difference between buy and sell price,called the spread,this can be anywhere between 1% and I've seen upto 30% or buying with 30% spread,the share has to increase 30% before you break even.Decide your risk factor,so called blue chips,FTSE 100/250 main market pay dividends,most years,but usually slower capital growth eg A plant before becoming sunbelt increased in value by 100+% over 10 years,on the riskier side,an absolute dog poo share on AIM,Vast Resources did 400+% today,but had you held it since it listed you'd be 99+% down on your investment lol

HTF can he spend that much in 3-ish months trying to find a buyer???????
smells of fish to me

" Vp plc spent close to £2m trying to find a buyer for the chairman’s shares. "

" Chairman Jeremy Pilkington .............aged 71, he launched a sale process in April this year but was unable to find a suitable buyer and called it off. "
