Changed phone so no pictures from before March. Started a site in Jan and was back in April to do subfloors and start drainage. The site is part of a bigger site that was never finished, heres the tails for the foul and storm that had been left by previous developer. Had been backfilled with 4inch crusher run, no pipe bedding. Cut back, filed them and connected in the manholes.

Had a TB290 on hire for a few weeks. Nothing to write home about. Smooth hydraulics but gutless and badly balanced. Visibility not great either. Came with a 30inch bucket, tried the 3ft off the ex60 on it and it didn't like it at all.
Had it on site but also nipped down for a Saturday to soil a few areas before cobbles go in

Interesting to hear your remarks on the 290 .... they get lots of love from a few on here, brand loyalty and getting used to the way a certain brand drives must influence opions.

Takeuchi on the whole has never really impressed me. From the 216 up to the 290 I've found any I've been on to have lovely smooth hydraulics but otherwise found them slow and gutless. I guess it's what you get used to, i have friends who run Taks and they think Hitachi are too fast and hard to control.

Started a new job on Friday. Original task was to change a manhole and put it into the main sewer andnot into the sceptic tank anymore. Main sewer wasn't there when house was built 25-30 years ago but they knew it was going to be installed at sometime so they put a pipe in anyway and a few years later the main sewer was put in and connected to the pipe that was put in but the house end was never connected. Ao our job was to change manhole and connect house end. Started to it and now have to replace the pipe. Ita only 6inches deep with no gravel below or on top. Also its all over place. So we have traced the pipe and took the pipe out. Really shabby work.

New dentures, nice👍 What are they going on🤔
The 205s (big ones) are for the ex60 digging bucket and the 428s are for outside of the digging bucket for the EZ26. Was on the ex30 but jobs since start of January haven't required it so a tad rusty got

Nice to see clip on teeth👍 instead of shake loose bolts😢
Hate bolt on teeth, ok for a few weeks but after that they never stay tight. We have no bolt on teeth anymore except on 18inch bucket which is hardly used these days

Got the digging bucket onto the wacker, digs the very best with it but does get light on the far track when at full reach over the side, the joys of zts 😂 one the same width with less capacity might be a good purchase
