Here's a pic of a crisp morning at a crisp -4 . sunny and clear all dayand night.

was an hour an' a half late arriving, but has been coming down steadily since half five .. if it keeps up there might be a few inches sat about by the morning --'bout 20+mm sat on top of the wall currently

Ours isn't due for a bit and it's an amber warning so I predict about 3mm which turns to slush by the morning. Which isn't enough to close schools according to my lads.

just cleared 2" of it from round the house and down to the woodshed, save dragging it into the house, fetching tonight's firewood up ... melting well and raining again here ... if it doesn't freeze tonight (and it ain't 'sposed to) will be gone tomorrow, which is supposed to be a blue sky day
can't see for fog here ATM, but temp is well up - could do with a bit of wind now .
