Gala Tents are good stuff. Folks use them for weekly farmers markets. We have a 3m x 3m one for work. On our second as the first one blew away and died despite being fully weighted on all 4 legs with proper cast weights, and having all the sides fitted and zipped up. Great things, but no bloody good in windy weather. After yesterday's battering we bit the bullet 2 ops off all afternoon as completely soaked through paid all day. 3 x 4.5m with sides and grd bars. Came this morning ordered late yesterday afternoon. Will take pics when we use it which could be Thursday looking at the forecast![]()
It did stop about 1 but fairplay shite'sposed to stop about 12 ..... doesn't look much like it will here ATM ..... looks set for the day ... a sunny afternoon is wildly optimistic on the met office's part IMHDO ... I remain to be proven wrong - and look forward to being so![]()
yep .. pretty wild here ATM too ... worse to come too -- Saturday looks to be a total horizontal monsoon - 35mil forecast for us ..... can't believe we still have internet TBHMust be one of worst Christmases , had an hour or so respite at midday that I bombed some beech rings up. But feeling a bit shite so curled up by the fire watching stuff is the plan now.
Sideways rain that's getting in places I've never seen![]()

I’m up in Elgin, was supposed to head home this afternoon but looks like we’re staying another night.I'm meant to be going to Alloa tomorrow first thing but a lot of the roads are closed with snow wind and rain so might end up staying in bed![]()
been a wild night again ... has had a third fence post in the trellis fence line and snapped a temp. brace on the previous victims - probably why the third one went TBHBeen dire here all day, going to be some flooding about
Some wind down here- just tried to sheet up a digger that's out of commission atm, gave up and just did the seat and and joysticks.been a wild night again ... has had a third fence post in the trellis fence line and snapped a temp. brace on the previous victims - probably why the third one went TBH...
