Absolutely soaked then in t shirts as it came red hot yesterday!
Can’t win!
still chucking it down - as forecast ..... funeral to go to at 11.00 .. gonna be a grim morning :(

You are not alone. Been on site this morning since 8am for 2hours for the scaffold to be lifted. Fair play the lads have stuck at it but we still have 40mins work to finish it in between the horrendous showers!! And it is now nearly 3pm

That is so true, been doing this most of my working life and it still amazes me how quickly a job can change, something that was relatively easy and straightforward becomes a real challenge.
Fortunately we had all the hardcore from the original house that was on the site crushed so we have some decent hardstanding. (y)

I did cut the grass earlier in the week.
It has now been watered!!

mine's not seen the mower since i last cut it 5 or 6 weeks ago (and was amazed it was dry enough then - just looked - it was 12th Feb) ... been way too wet since

Had the gazebo up trying to keep some stuff dry and refugee from worst of the rain but it’s no fun playing at wood butcher when it’s soaking

Started a cut and fill job for a 60x40 ft shed to go on 2 weeks ago 3rd day called it quits as too wet and haven't been back since been on lorry all this week
Dug out the lorry that the clutch went on me today parked next to it with 5t on the Beaver tail and loaded another one of ours opposite side of beaver tail the load has gained 200kg from the rain since Wednesday evening
