5 days on from post on previous page about it and main road is back open with a lot of timber removed. Local contractor with a lot of nice kit not all shown in pics!

Yes, everyone blaming the council (who couldn’t win either way) but is actually privately owned land so I guess will have to try and charge landowner, must have cost a fortune!

I bought a chinese made 6.5 kva gen (with a yanmar clone engine). The roll-frame was welded by the same guy.

The locals usually know to avoid going into them. After all this rain they are shocking you learn to reverse instead of trying to squeeze past. Pulling the dumb ones out is a winter past time!! Didn’t bother trying to flip the truck upright. Was off to look at schools with daughter. The driver was a bit shocked……when my wife started talking to him in Romanian. He wasn’t expecting that after I pulled him out of the cab!!

She does t normally break out in her native tongue but after I pulled him out, his accent gave the game away. She was able to confirm that he wasn’t injured and had been able to call his boss. I called the fire service before I pulled him out as I thought he was injured when I first say him.
