Gutted. I’d imagine it happens a lot - are there people out there who repair these?
My window lads going to take door off take it back to manufacturer who we know well and does a lot for the family’s building firms and they’ll change out the bottom piece.

I’d look at touch up etc but as it’s powder coated and it’s squished it out would be tricky repair

Our plasterer did the same on a brand new sliding door, luckily it didn’t dent as badly - window fitter had already booked in a snagging guy who came and filled/painted it- alongside nearly every fecking window! couldn’t tell once it was done, but it was inside, I wouldn’t of allowed it outside because it would never of lasted out in the elements!

Was by fairly new big DEWALT box level 6’ as well wasn’t pleased about that taking a tumble hence why it gave the door such a blow
Few years ago I was doing a fence, younger mate working with me started backing filling by knocking stones down the hole with my 6ft6 Fatmax level. I asked him not to, telling him to use a tamping stick, and that that level is bloody expensive and needs a bit of care due to its length.
Literally 2 minutes later I'm talking to the client and out the corner of my eye I see said level falling like a stack of bricks from where I'd left it. Went down with a massive bang, mate picks it back up, very careful leans it, while quietly muttering about it being bloody expensive and needing a bit of care 😆 🤣 😂

Well I've had my hatrick for today- dropped and broke a customers mug, ran over a package (distracted by a neighbour but still my fault) and got a mile away and realised I'd stolen their plate ffs 😆 🤣
Luckily they're lovely to work for 😃 😆

A mate has snapped his Navara so I lent him the Hilux to drag some cattle to market. My wife (who uses the Hilux most of the time) subsequently used my dad’s old Jag (which we use for motorway journeys etc) and hit a pothole within 3 miles of home…
I have already had cracks welded in 2 other wheels on the same car since January, this really peed me off!

One of my lads had 3 windscreens in 6 months. All just freak stone chips - not his fault.

did three screens in a fortnight in my Iveco truck once ..... Richy did two and I did the third ..... bloody pheasants coming out of a high hedge on one particular stretch of road, 'en route' to a regular customer

I was driving in my Transit a few years back and very unusually for me I was speeding at over 70. Pheasant flew out on me and I thought I was a goner as it was lining up with my face, luckily hit my drivers side A Pillar. Left some interesting dribbles down the side of the van. Shook me up as well.
