I got the machine for free

but needed a set of sprockets and tracks (totally worn out) so it sat in my field for a year or so then someone needed a final drive for a kh33 so sold him both

then I had a few days spare and decided to get it mobile
I didn’t need the machine so didn’t want to spend any money on it and as I had the axles though a duck was the way forward

and a cheap fix

the wheels came from the scrap yard for free too as did the transfer box which I fitted a hydraulic motor to
Now the ‘clever’ bit was the drive pedal in the cab I used the same spools as the two track pedals but joined them together with a bar that was off Center so as you pressed the pedal first one spool would got to full travel than as you pressed it more the other spool would then operate giving both sides of the pump to the travel motor, so had a two speed set up on the pedal then a little single acting ram with a spring on the end pulled the lever on the transfer case giving me a further two speeds
It work really well for a bit of an experiment

but in the end cut it up and fitted the top half to a boat as a dredger as I needed one for a job I had

and after that job sold the dredger and made a nice profit plus had the experience of fooking about with metal for a bit
