Run down to Farnham for Greenshields to replace an undercarriage

Burst hose on an engcon, 3 Nationals came to this job and refused due to difficulties in stripping components off, 2 hours and we had it up and running ready for the evening motorway closure

Call out to oil leak on truck from articulation joint, took a bit of head scratching to find it was the the brake seals bypassing and filling the axle up with oil, causing the oil to flow out of the breather that’s connected to the chassis and run out the drain hole next to the articulation joint.
Back into our workshop and full strip down to find out what the previous cowboys had done.

plantery bearing collapsed and rather than replacing the damage parts they pulled the halfhasft and left all the swarf inside, this causing our seals to fail and basically wipe out the complete hub assembly.
Replacement sourced from the USA for a 1/4 price of new parts

Gen 7 and 10’s we had from 2004 to 2011 we bad for wheel bearings, diff seals, dig spider gears, hub seals, and you got the odd brake piston bypassing internally, if the axle breather hose was burst it would save you the heartache of the chassis filling it’s self with oil

Liebherr 956 with complete undercarriage failure leaking to tracks frames cracking. This was a major failure.

I’ve never had rollers with bolts removed and cut in half that still wouldn’t come off
