excellent .. can't wait to see the weapon
Me neither ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜.

10k seems a good price........ I found Facebook very frustrating when looking for a digger ...... A lack of information and some rude one word replys........though a mate of mine has just bought a unimog on Facebook for big bucks ๐Ÿค‘

it'll be going back but looks reasonably well together (assuming the pix are recent)

have had plenty of that sort of response, frustratingly and frequently from sellers who's items were of genuine interest.
Bid a guy on a real nice magnetic chuck to suit the Harrison a few weeks ago ('fore I ended up in hospital) - pretty curt reply - come home to find he'd sold it for less than I'd bid him - t.w.a.t.

looking at Ross's stock ( @Regy53 ) earlier, he has a nice 8026 too, which I don't think is silly money at all

I too suspect it's not the "real" price....I have found this is common practice whilst looking for a digger.
However, the bullet has been bitten ๐Ÿ˜ฒ. My new to me Cat 301.7d, 2015, weighing in at a shade under 2t should be on the Ferry to France tonight !
Simon's machine was always going to be a push for my budget, and after some chatting, we both agreed..๐Ÿ˜”.
Found this one in York and had a mate check it over. There are a couple of small jobs ( and probably some bigger ones ), that need doing, it's had some paint, but I have seen the before photos it wasn't too bad imho.
Just over 2000 hours, and one owner plus dealer. He agreed to O% rate the VAT, and it was collected by Simon from George White first thing Monday morning ready for the boat tonight, so should be here Thursday \ Friday.
I am nervous and exited in equal measures!
I will post some pics when it lands here.
A massive thanks to all who have helped and advised throughout this journey ๐Ÿ™. It's a compromise, but I think it's a good machine to test the waters. If my research is correct, there is a healthy profit to me made, even after some use, which may well lead to bigger and better (machines) things in the future lol.
At least my ass won't be sore now I have finally got off the fence๐Ÿ˜.
I will definitely be sticking around, I have already met some great people on this forum ........ and I will probably need some more help in the future lol.
Thanks guys ๐Ÿ‘
Nice

So, D Day, as we have been calling it has finally arrived at 0745 this morning! Not the best photos as the heavens were just about to open. Really pleased overall. Everything is as described, and everything seems work as it should, (though I have not actually done any digging yet!), Except for one thing ๐Ÿ˜ฎ. The boom swing from left to right is really slow. I can speed it up by using the aux button at the same time but I know this is wrong. Everything else moves at the correct rate, and seems to have loads of power. The manual says I should press the button on the left joystick and operate the floor pedal to move the boom. However the boom moves regardless of whether the button on the joystick is pressed or not.
I initially thought it was my lack of knowledge/experience, but after playing and reading this afternoon, I definitely think it's a problem with the digger. Any thoughts guys? Thanks in advance as always.
