I too suspect it's not the "real" price....I have found this is common practice whilst looking for a digger.
However, the bullet has been bitten

. My new to me Cat 301.7d, 2015, weighing in at a shade under 2t should be on the Ferry to France tonight !
Simon's machine was always going to be a push for my budget, and after some chatting, we both agreed..

.
Found this one in York and had a mate check it over. There are a couple of small jobs ( and probably some bigger ones ), that need doing, it's had some paint, but I have seen the before photos it wasn't too bad imho.
Just over 2000 hours, and one owner plus dealer. He agreed to O% rate the VAT, and it was collected by Simon from George White first thing Monday morning ready for the boat tonight, so should be here Thursday \ Friday.
I am nervous and exited in equal measures!
I will post some pics when it lands here.
A massive thanks to all who have helped and advised throughout this journey

. It's a compromise, but I think it's a good machine to test the waters. If my research is correct, there is a healthy profit to me made, even after some use, which may well lead to bigger and better (machines) things in the future lol.
At least my ass won't be sore now I have finally got off the fence

.
I will definitely be sticking around, I have already met some great people on this forum ........ and I will probably need some more help in the future lol.
Thanks guys
