Hi guys -
Looking for some advice advice.
I only use a level for initial Site surveying for planning applications - ordinary builders/dumpy level at the moment.
But want to be able to record and set out levels on my own, so toying with idea of buying my first Laser Level.
Was looking at Nedo Sirius h1 and Topcon H5A; both serious money, but look top job.
But then I found this:
FAKUDA FRE-205 DUO LASER LEVEL
(
) and am well impressed.
(especially as this comes with the indoor Crossline laser level)
This appears to also include the Staff & Tripod, receiver - the lot, and looks like a great price compared.
Is it worth spending the extra money for the top brands, or is the Fakuda a good reliable level for my application - based on the idea that this will be really only used 10 or 20 times a year for taking section line reduced levels through green field sites ?
Thanks in advance for honest opinions or reviews from people in the know!
Vin
