Do you not think all these new machines(and vehicles) with their problems are just pushing everyone into leasing as they don’t want the problems? It’s not something I ever want to entertain at all but can see why larger firms who pile the hours on machines would go for!
No. I think it's the world we live in. Firstly they are trying to reduce emissions, not just from the tailpipe but from the manufacturing process. Secondly they are trying to budget engineer everything to increase profits. Thirdly they are trying to add stuff that is essentially gadgets and gimmicks as a sales ploy that don't add much substance to the car/van/digger/washing machine.
The result is a pretty sh*te product.
But the general consumer, even purchasing managers of large plant hire firms can be somewhat blinded by these things especially when they claim a cost saving. Even when in reality this is at the expense of reliability.
Completely off topic but has anyone else heard the advert for the vaxhaul grandlander.
In which it tells you how grand it is due to a light up front logo. Who the f*ck buys a car for a light up logo. And what a waste of natural resources to produce it.
