JCB HTD05 Dumster. Tacking and lowering problems

What happens when you push this lever forward?

Off the top of my head order is accelerator, left track, lift (down for lift and up for lower), right track, low/high speed and tip

Looking at the levers, it has a two speed lever, is it connected to the valve? It looks like its not connected but i just checked and the speed does change

not much. if you pull it back it lifts the skip. if you pull it forward it only works if you use the left track at the same time.

Throttle ( witch always slips when warm)
left track
lift skip
right track
2 speed lever
skip tip

sometime it also shudders or jumps when tracking

Did you mean left to right? Can you disconnect the two speed hoses, and blank the valve and hoses! Then let me know what you have?

yes sorry from left to right.

I have nothing to hand that i can blank the valve with so unfortunately i will have to get back on to this at the weekend. thank you so much for your help so far. and i will give you an update once ive blanked it off

Seems to be an issue with how the two speed lever operates and the issues it causes when operated!

The two speed valve has two hoses coming from it, 1 green at the back, 2 blue at the front, can you trace where they go?

very back - 2 pipes going to the pump
back line - Left track - skip up - right track - Nothing - skip tip - pipe to cooler
front line- left track - skip up - right track - nothing - skip tip , pipe to pump

Ok try this, remove the caps and fittings from the blank 2 speed valve, and fit the hoses and fitting from the lift valve, I see it has a 5th lever but no hoses!

I will do this on Friday / Saturday. do you think this will solve the tracking issue or just the down on the skip?

Hi, Morning! thanks again for your help with this.

last night i managed to change the hoses over, and tested it this morning. i had to strip the whole block out so i could change the blanks. anyways

the tacking is still jumpy and now the skip wont lift at all. Ive not tested it under weight

Ok so the spool section we have changed the hoses over to has a blank spool in it from the factory! The original spool section is leaking into the track section (possibly an o ring) it’s a bit involved but as you are quite a dab hand at taking the block apart, follow the arrows! The old spool needs to go from the red to the yellow position, the green circled parts are check valves, in this position the valve will be fed by a different pump from the track motors and should not be affected, unless there is an internal crack!

ok it seems putting it back together was harder then it looks.
I did do as you say but i managed to get some pipes in the wrong place. it all back together ( well pips in the right places)
its now tracking ok i think. the skip tips but is jumping but there is no lift at all
