on the leavers its :
left track
lift skip
right track
2 speed ( back 1 click is 1st, forward 1 click is 2nd)
tip skip

Ok so when operating the lift lever what happens? What we have done is from the start, we have gained a two speed valve but lost lift skip, the blank valve section is where skip lift should be! So again change the hoses from tip valve to lift valve, we know the tip valve works so it should then lift, and in theory tip won’t work. How long has the original issue been present in the dumper?

when operating the lift leaver no movement happens, but the engine noise changes.
we have moved the lift valve from position 2, to position 4.
the problem has been there around 6 months that i know of and i have replaced both track moters.
ill go change the tip to the lift position now

Now the lift is in the tiper position findings :
skip now lifts using the tip leaver
nothing happens on the lift leaver just a change in engine noise
tracks seem fine. not sure if they are in speed 1 or 2 though.
2 speed leaver . in speed 2 it tips the skip - speed 1 nothing.
i guess the 2 speed works like its either in normal or fast. like 1 setting

Same it’s on line! So that valve section that doesn’t work on tip or lift is the issue! Needs stripping to find issue! The rams obviously work!

ive Just been and stripped the block out and put it in the shed.
Ill order a valve seal kit or get a o ring multi box this week and carry on next week end. untill then thanks for the guidance Mick

Hi All
just finished rebuilding the valve block. i cleaned it with brake cleaner and blew it out with the air compressor
then replaces all the seals.
JCB wanted £456 quid for a seal kit so just got a kit of O rings from Euro car parts for £30.
I have put the lift skip back to its original position (No 2 slice) on the valve block as its meant to be there i can tell from the missing paint around the blanks was.
Results :
Back to original problems :
lower skip only works with the left track engaged ( skip works fine under load. both up and down )
Turning under load is hard work.
Also seems to move faster now.
what else can it be?

So the lift skip slice you have put back I think has an internal crack or damaged spool! Have you pulled the caps off this slice and examined the spool?

i literally stripped it of everything and rebuilt it. i checked the washers for defects but they was fine. i replaced every washer. I wasn't clever enough to look for cracks
ill see if i can pick up a 2nd had block and see if that helps

On the ends of the lift valve you will find a cap and plate held on with hex head bolts, remove the cap and pull the spring and spool out!

Morning Mick.
Ill have to do this next weekend as i will have to strip the valve block back out again to do it.
i cant remember seeing any damage on the spool and i did look closely at them all. i just didn't look inside the block

Ok take a few pictures, according to the hydraulic diagram the tip spool and lift spool are the same, you could try changing them from block to block!

Hi all. That time of the week again where i get to work on the dumper.
Ive changed the spools as requested. But i couldnt see any dammage on them.
¹st 5 pics are the original lift spool
Next 4 are the tip spool.
After changing them round the tracking has improved and turns brilliantly under load. It also moves faster.
Lifting works correctly.
However tiping wont work now. Unless you pull both track leavers back and then the dumper also moves at the same time.
