JCB HTD05 Dumster. Tacking and lowering problems

ok it seems putting it back together was harder then it looks.
I did do as you say but i managed to get some pipes in the wrong place. it all back together ( well pips in the right places)
its now tracking ok i think. the skip tips but is jumping but there is no lift at all

Sounds like air lock in the tip, if the tracking seems ok then there is an issue with the lift slice!

how do i sort the air lock?
ive been looking for a seal kit but cant find one.
do you think it would be better to get a o ring kit from screwfix and strip the block down?

If you are willing to that in a good clean place, with good light, mark all hoses take lots of pictures, we can check all surfaces and orings as we go, did you top up oil after rebuilding?

i did lose a fair bit of oil, ive only got 32. so will have to wait till next week to get some 46. or maybe i can use the 32 and just do an oil change later?

Yeh top up with 32 for now, but first try changing tip valve hoses to lift valve and see what works! Trying to eliminate things to find the issue

whats the vip valves?

also any ideas on how to lift the skip up? the hyro oil tank is under the skip and cant get to the filler lid

VIP? Change the tip hoses to the lift hoses as said then lift the skip and safety pin it change hoses back and tip the skip! Leave it all up while working on it.

So ive changed the pipes to be the same as the JCB manual. so originally the lift ram rod side was in position B, its now in position A.
doing this let me lift the skip up but i had to use the right track leaver as well.
i filled the oil up and give it a test.
findings : tracks move as they should ( not tested under load )
skip tip works as it should ( no longer jumpy )
2 speed works
Skip lift /down no longer works ( even tried it using a track leaver at the same time ) but the engine noise changes when you use the lever

the JCB manual says the 2 position is blank and the lift position is 4.

now its only in this position because you asked me to change it.

do you think there has been a problem before and someone else used the blank position to over come it?

ok so it seems we have bled the air out of the tip system, the tracks now seem to work fine! We have no lift but 2 speed is working (where have we got the 2 speed piped up to?

not a clue how the 2 speed works, i dont see any pipes for it.
got 2 for each track
2 for lift skip
2 for tip skip

Ok the difference is the flow is increased when two speed lever is engaged, can you show me which valve is now doing what? As you have it, this drawing is what I think maybe your hydraulic issue! On the section marked lift there is line out from the track valve, but there is a check valve further round which looks like it maybe leaking past! The check valve is just above the green circle to the right.
