Think there is enough variation across the members to suggest it doesn't really matter what grease if it's good quality but a coupler style end is great if it fits in everywhere means you don't have to "attend the nipple" :)
I have a Fuchs gun which I really recommend but have had to go back to standard cos can't get 500g cartridges over here ffs.

I bought the clamp on end but can't use it on ½ the nipples as they are only small machines you can't physically get the end over them

See I have the Fuchs with the clamp on couple and find I do still need a spare hand for it on awkward nipples- to hold it square. Find less grease comes out the side

Arent JCB doing a similar tube type to Fuchs now? Surely you could get that en français?

To sum up, any grease through any colour gun is better than none :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

If it's new it doesn't need greasing if it's old it's not worth greasing.

I find it hard to believe that electric grease guns are of any benefit unless in a workshop doing lots of machines at one time. Or greasing those remote greasing banks on some machines that supply several points with one nipple

I have an alemite lever and previously had an alemite 2 pressure pistol grip. It takes <5mins to grease most machines.

There’s a lot of machines out there where a battery gun is a real advantage, unless you’ve got three hands. You’re still going round the machine checking everything at the same time.

There a whole lot of overthinking going into this greasing issue. In 50 years around machines I’ve seen a lot of failures through lack of grease, but not one through the wrong colour or make of grease.

I don’t do that much greasing .. but tool in one hand and a nipple in the other is the way to go!

Which one? They do loads of different ones. The Lithium EP2 is very reasonably priced.
I use the EP2 , EP2 red HT and the EP graphite for certain bits
