I think they're 24.95 list but they gave me for 20. Those prices might be excluding the vat too.
Tbh I'm hoping 5g comes soon here as the thing is equipped for that.
I was used to mid 20s mbs
SSE is currently 2 quid a month for the BB and £19 for the line rental, including .... don't mind paying a bit more if the speed was up, more reliable and I could tell BT to **** off and take their pole with 'em :giggle::giggle: .... or i'll introduce it to 'Charlie the chainsaw ' and the knob next door'll have to find a new way to 'get connected' :ROFLMAO:

Yes those lost prices are a lot higher especially in % terms. What a rip off. I got the device for free too.
Maybe because I was cancelling my fixed line and went thru to the retention team
sounds like a plan

Having a bit of a lie in this morning, dozing, listening to the rain hammering on the velux above us and a truck pulls up on the drive .. bugger !!
"sounds like Reo's truck??" .. "Nah - he's in Norfolk"
Looked out the Velux and damn me it's Reo  ... dragged some clothes on and shot down ... bearing in mind it is lashing down .. "WTF you doing here mate? ... you get lost on the way -- LOL"

Got to the top of the M50 Tuesday evening and his prop started clattering :( ... new one only six weeks old, so limped it home very carefully and got it changed yesterday (y).... set off again yesterday afternoon, got to Strensham and his N/S/F wheel bearing began howling o_O:cry: .... so limped it home, after spending 4 hrs stuck in a traffic jam, after the M5 got shut down by a lorry flipping and blocking the entire carriageway:mad:

So called round here this morning, for a second opinion .. no question -fooked!! .. and ask if he could leave his truck at ours ... much safer with a lot of his tools still on board .. didn't want to leave it at his - too exposed - or at the garage - they're always getting turned over.

"No prob.s -- go see the boys in the garage, come back and i'll run you home" .. he'd stuffed the bare minimum of tools in his TT ... including his new scaff. hoist and gantry and was gonna head off in that. Not heard anything tonight so assume he made it :giggle: ....

if it wasn't for his bad luck he'd have no luck at all .... reckon his middle name is Jonah :oops: .... if it's gonna happen, it'll happen to Reo ... he tells some tales of 's**t happens' .. especially to him

Lol, I know how he feels tho! Finally got my D3 back up and running - had the ECU patched so the EGR's were not causing it to fault!

The guy tuning it said that it had been mapped by an utter tw@t, anyway now with the normal map on there the new engine sounds sweet as.

not a great deal to report really ...... had a long chat with me crane man and got him a couple of loads of planings organised, as he was struggling to find any. Also got the box shifting logistics pretty well sorted and penciled in for ... soon as I'm ready. :giggle:

spent several hours extracting 4 tower scaffs. from behind said boxes, as they were all stood up against the one box :(:censored: ... that was a lot of walking to and fro and the only place i could realistically put it all, where it'd be mobile and only require one more handling session was in me 10 x 5 trailer .... 'tis well stuffed ...

and there're still a few braces and legs hiding under a box, that i couldn't get at ..... but it's all in one place and move-able
found a beautifully built thrush's nest amongst it all ..

lovely piece of 'engineering ;):)(y)

as said earlier, somewhere, been at me desk most of day trying to get paperwork for the farm sorted ... just about have it sold - I hope ... should've been concreting, filling wall holes on such a nice day, but it had to be done .... got outside in time to wave bye bye to the sun tonight ..

an' Pam's just reminded me it hamster juice in the morning :(:censored:

so that's the morning knackered as well .... got more stuff on the roof of two boxes .. ten off 20ft lengths of 12" perf to shift and find a home for tomorrow .. problem is a lot of 'em are stuffed with other pipes and timber, so ain't exactly light -- unless I empty them  ... forks job and try and band 'em up in a bundle I think .... plus a 30ft telegraph pole, which I KNOW is bloody heavy .......
couple of cables and a catenary wire and overhead cable to come down next, after disconnection, cable stanchion lopped off the end of one of the boxes, with all its floods and they'm theoretically ready for Russel and his 35t Liebherr ... might  have to walk 'em a bit with an end each to start with ... 'Drema'll handle an end relatively well hopefully ... she's 'sposed to be good for 10t ... we'll see, but if the pair of us can't sort it, between us ... we'll need our bums kicking 😂🤪

I can't see the drema not handling a end easily I had a entire 10ft box on the case and it wasn't struggling and yours is ment to be better at lifting.

Get a ratchet under the middle of the pipes and bundle them together they should lift quite nicely then

If they were empty Thomas she'd handle 'em on her own, even if I had to walk them ..... sadly they'm all full and going 12 t each .... emptying 'em just ain't an option ... only planning on doing that once !:rolleyes:

the issue with that is they'm all stuffed with timber/pipes/all sorts ... had to pick 'em up flat ..

and need to have 'em 'sorted' to put 'em where I'm going to for a few weeks ...

taken me most of the afternoon to get 'em down and band 'em onto these couple of pallets and timbers ..... they're now one manageable lump ...
stuck 'em out the way for the night and'll persuade 'em into their new home tomorrow .....

Blacksmiths Wheel Wright Tools
£600

Listed 2 weeks ago in Eastbourne,

Tyre rollers and trying plate. The plate is 67" diameter ,1 1/2" thick with a16 3/4" hole in the centre. The rollers will roll up to 6" x 3/4". I don't know if the motor is any good now. I do have the original hand wheel to wind them by hand. It's not hard to do. They are in storage near Heathfield.

I'd always surmised that this was the original use for the set i have and it's nice to have my theory confirmed ..
that proving plate looks to be cast iron, judging by the blow holes/air bubbles in the plate's surface....
difficult to be sure from the pix but can't see any signs of carbon black on its surface though and would expect to see much more rust degradation if it were MS. ..... 'sa hell of a lump what ever it's made of :oops:o_O

What's the trying plate used for?
making certain the wheel is flat, the tyre is true and for dropping the heated tyre onto the wheel rim concentrically ... the steel tyre kept all the wheel components in place once shrunk onto to rim
