I've got a proper mucktruck max (very local to me) good bit of kit but hard to build a pile with it. Ideal for long distance as top gear is quite brisk. Got a platform for mine aa well but never use it. If you ever come Devon way you're welcome to try it. I'm looking to upgrade to a track barrow as easy enough to put a board down for turning.
aren't they friction driven on the wheel's surface by an idler/drive wheel between them? ... garage and tool hire place in the village had a couple .. looked like they'd be hard work, once everything gets covered in sticky tish or clay

Not too bad if you keep the tyre pressures set up right, soon goes to 2WD if you don’t !

well it's a damned good job we hadn't arranged anything for today @Rob65 ...
had a massive reaction to me hamster juice yesterday morning ..
first in a long time, but spleen and pancreas went ballistic ..
thought I was in for a.n.other dose of pancreatitis ...
rolling round the bloody floor for an hour or two, waiting for the tramadol cocktail to kick in ...
even got the oramorph out in case it didn't ....
but eventually got it to a tolerable level ..
and been clock watching all night for the next dose time.:(
good job I have a reasonable 'stock' ...
gonna take a day or two to get on top of I think ..
Not quite off my face, but pretty close :rolleyes:
Sorry to hear this. It sounds horrendous.

From the pics you posted I’m fairly sure your baby Jake is the same as mine. A few fittings screwed together and job jobbed.

I’ve put the quote in for the job down there. Let’s see what happens. I may be down again before long. 😀😀😀

cheers Rob ... it is ...
was a very small step away from full house pancreatitis again  ...
spent two hours or more resisting chucking up, 'cos that'd've kicked it off properly and writhing in pain ...
and then it buggers up yer gastric system for several days ..
just pleased it doesn't happen very often.

Lil' Jake certainly looks the same from your pix and as said, shouldn't take a lot of sorting ...
'sposed to be dry tomorrow and Friday and was gonna have a crack at it ...
out the window now for several days ....
do not want to p*ss the body off any more, 'til it's right again

if you do get down this way you're always welcome here ;)(y)

I don't think the planners even understand what the proposal is

"The Welsh Government’s ambitions to move to net-zero carbon production by using cleaner forms of power generation “must be given substantial weight”,

this is a battery storage facility ... nothing more .. twist locks full of batteries to store excess power when demand is low on a serious flood risk area .." the site was considered “highly vulnerable” to flooding, and local sea defences were in a poor condition. " as they've been for decades .... the sea walls have been falling apart down there for as long as I can recall

" the application was “clearly the sort of project we should be supporting”, but noted the area in question would possibly not be acceptable for development if there wasn’t already a power station built on the land. " which has been de-commissioned and is no longer a power station FFS

they have zero idea of what they are talking about ... typical planning committee :mad::mad:

be safer in an Icelandic bank

Time to retrieve my 'pot' if the bas**ds're investing pension funds in this sort of sh1t
